Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse at Upscale Staffing, you will coordinate and deliver patient care, ensure adherence to protocols, and promote health and well-being practices. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
- Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
- Monitoring patient recovery and progress, and responding to any changes in patient conditions.
- Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ensure that all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met.
- Keep up to date with the latest practices, tools, and technology in nursing care.
- Manage nursing supplies and working within a budget.
- Communicate with doctors and healthcare professionals effectively to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing (ADN).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state.
- Proven experience as a registered nurse, in a hospital or relevant medical setting.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible and compassionate with a strong focus on quality care and results.
Working Conditions
- Work shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the needs of Upscale Staffing’s facilities.
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases and other conditions typical of a clinical or hospital environment.
- The role requires stamina and physical endurance, including the ability to perform physically demanding procedures and assist patients with mobility issues.
